How to make the most of your time in the Methow Valley

A good map to have: Upper Methow Valley

A word about dogs: Dogs are welcome on 90% of the MVSTA trails during the summer, all National Forest trails and in Wilderness Areas.  Dogs are not permitted on trails in North Cascades National Park. Please keep dogs out of the river when Salmon are spawning - usually after mid-August.

Ballooning, biking, birding, hiking, running, rafting, and horseback riding: You name it - Winthrop Washington's Web Site has you covered.

Chelsea's favorite activity: EATING

These are a few of our favorite establishments around the valley. Of course  nothing beats cooking on the grill at home. There's a grocery store in Winthrop and an organic co-op in Twisp. We would be remiss if we didn't mention that The Mazama Store is hands down our favorite.
